	Robert E. Coonrod, SP 5 Feb. 13, 1940 Nov. 13, 2008
Born February 13, 1940 in Chillicothe, Ohio, he was one of 13 children of the late Orrie Coonrod and Veronica Corcoran Coonrod. Mr. Coonrod was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War, where he received many commendations including a bronze star for heroism. He was a retired mechanic. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Victoria Anne Bullock Coonrod of N. Charleston, SC; son, Robert O. Coonrod and his fiance, Kristy Bridgers, both of N. Charleston, SC; daughter, Veronica L. Coonrod and her fiance, Kenny Hiott, both of Summerville, SC; sister, Rose and husband Everette Bell of Chillicothe, Ohio; honorary sister and brother, Pam and Harles Prater, both of Summerville; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews. His brothers and sisters, except Rose, all preceded him in death; most recently his brother and sister-in-law, Al and Alice Coonrod and his sister, Martha Simmons, all of Ohio, died in 2007. A graveside service with full military honors was held Monday, November 17, 2008, at 12:30 P.M. at Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC.
