Mike Underhill, 57, of Owensboro died Thursday, May 7, 2009 at Owensboro Medical
Health Systems. He was born March 27, 1952 in Daviess County to the late Everett
Underhill, Jr. and Helen (Stevens) Underhill, who survives. He was a retired veteran of
the U.S. Army. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, girl's softball and little league baseball.
He was a member of Seven Hills Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife of 25 years, Marion "Mikie" (Lange)
Underhill; four children, Michelle Underhill, Steven Underhill, Sandi Lewis and her
husband, Brian, and Kari Underhill; grandchildren, Jade and Gavin Lewis; a sister, Pat
Atherton and her husband, W.B.; and three brothers, Bill Underhill and his wife, Jeanie,
David Underhill and his wife, Betty, and Raymond Underhill and his wife, Kim.
Funeral services will be at 10:00a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at James H. Davis
Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation will be on Monday from 2:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. and after 9:00a.m. on
Tuesday until the time of service at James H. Davis Funeral Home Chapel.
